We have added two new features to Live Blair County to increase your ease-of-use and interaction.

Facebook Connect
If you are not signed into the website you should see a Facebook connect button at the bottom of the log in box. Click the Facebook connect button and you will be prompted to allow Live Blair County permission to access your Facebook profile. Choosing allow will present you with a page on the Live Blair County website asking if you would like to create a new Live Blair County account with Facebook or connect an existing account.

We have recently added a forum to our website to allow local residents to discuss and share Blair County History. Feel free to use the Forum (also known as a Message Board) to share stories or find information from other local residents. Using the Forum requires you to be a member of Live Blair County. You can do this easily, and for free, by creating an account and then using the Discuss link at the top of every page.

Searching Live Blair County just got easier. For those of you that use Firefox 3.x or Internet Explorer 8.x we now offer opensearch ability. What this means is that you can now search directly through the search box in your browser instead of having to visit the Website.

To set this up in Firefox you must first visit www.liveblaircounty.com and then to the left of your search box click the down arrow and select Add "Live Blair County". You will then have your search changed to Live Blair County. Go ahead and change it back to your default by clicking the down arrow.
